7pm Session 1 – Preparing images for Competitions (Noel Morgan) For New Members or for those who have not entered one of our competitions before, come along and learn how to present your images for competitions.
Session 2 – Photoshop – Before & After. (Gordon Jenkins) For those already familiar with Photoshop. A more in depth look at what is possible with Photoshop using before & after images. Seeing the potential in a picture.
Mon 21th – What’s in that Bag? Ever wondered what our fellow photographers carry in their gadget bag and why they bought it in the first place! Tonight some of our members will show those useful and maybe not so useful items they have. Should be a fun as well an informative evening. Might even be a buffet (H). Members of CPS.
7pm Session 1 – Photoshop – A Demo. (Chris Carter) For those new to Photoshop. An introduction to Photoshop. What is Photoshop, what does it look like, why should you use Photoshop?
Session 2 – Photoshop – Retouching Portraits (Nigel Roberts). Learn how to Brighten Eyes, Whiten Teeth and Remove Skin Blemishes.

7pm Session 1 – Black & White Workshop – Noel Morgan. What makes a good B&W image, Shoot in B&W or convert later? a discussion/Q&A on B&W.
Session 2 – Beginners Master Class 1 – Glyn Davies. Learn about Aperture, what is it and it’s affect on your images.
Mon 26th – John Wells FRPS Lecture. John will entertain you & show you some stunning creative work, not to be missed. – H
7pm Session 1 – Photoshop – Layers – Chris Carter. What is a layer, why they are essential and how to use them.
Session 2 – Photoshop – Layer Masks – Gordon Jenkins. What are Layer Masks and why/when should you use them.

Mon 16th – Richard Speirs DPAGB – Lecture. Painting with light digital. Richard is from Carlisle & will entertain us with his images with his own interesting touch.
7pm Session 1 – Photoshop – The Crop Tool – Tracey Wilkinson. What is it, where is it and how to use it.
Session 2 – Photoshop – Creative Effects – Nigel Roberts. Ever wanted to learn how to add a vignette, or apply duo tones? now is your chance.
Mon 23rd – Boyd Harris Lecture – New digi projected. People and Mountains of the eastern Khumbu, Nepal. A photographic exploration.

7pm Session 1 – HDR Workshop – Chris Carter) – What is HDR, how do you do it?
Session 2 – Beginners Master Class 4 – Glyn Davies &/or Gordon Jenkins. You’ve learnt about aperture, shutter speed and ISO now bring in your images where you have used these, for comments and help – or just to show off.
